Bayonet And Scabbard For Ross Rifle 1916 Dated NiceOffered for auction is a decent example fo a ww1 canadian ross rifle bayonet. The bayonet hilt is marked with the broad arrow c acceptance stamp, is dated 7/16, and rack number 11, the reverside is marked ross rifle co, quebec, patented 1907, the grip is marked 230, grips in good condition, no splits or missing pieces. The blade is straight, no rust, no nicks to the cutting edge. The metalwork has a nice patina, a couple of small bruises on the end of the hilt, looks like it has been struck at some time, to remove from the rifle. hTe leather scabbard is in nice condition, leather still supple, stitching complete, is marked with the broad arrow c, and rrc 1916, and mk 2 payment requested within 7 days, or i will relist item, non payers will be reported to ebay, guaranteed. |
